When Did the Nike Dunk Come Out?

This popular Nike high top shoe was first released in 1985, they were originally designed as a basketball shoe, taking into consideration movements such as pivoting and blocking. The Dunks became an instant success. Nike then approached college basketball teams with the Dunks in the colours of their teams to further push these trainers. A decade these sneakers found their way in the skateboarding community thanks to some subtle changes made, they are now a favourite among fellow skaters. Today the Nike Dunk shoes are more popular than ever since the re-release back in 2020. New colourways such as the panda (black & white), rose whisper and grey fog.
