Nike Air Max 1
The brainchild of Nike’s legendary designer, Tinker Hatfield, the OG Air Max silo first dropped back in ’87. It was the first kick to feature a visible Air Unit, effectively starting the Air Max revolution by showing the unique cushioning system in action! Featuring layered material to the sidewalls, the standout design is unmistakable. Redesigned and retro’d for the modern sneakerhead, the Air Max 1 continues to make waves over 30 years since its release!
Nike Air Max 90
Dropping in 1990, the sneaker that set the tone for the 90s! The Air Max 90 is loved by athletes and sneakerheads all over the world. Known as the Air Max III until 2000, the kicks design exaggerates the thickness of the heel, giving you a bold and chunky look! Proudly displaying the Air Unit to the heel, over the past 25 years sneak has grown into a street icon.
Nike Air Max 95
When the 90s reached their midway point, Sergio Lozano decided to switch up the shoe game. Sergio based the 95 on the human anatomy, with the midsole being the spine, the layered side panels being muscle fibres, and the laces being the ribs. The first Air Max sneaker to utilise two Air units, the 95 also had a unique curvature which gave the wearer the most responsive feel to do. Constantly retro’d and redesigned, it remains one of Nike’s most popular silos!
Nike Air Max 97
Designed by Christian Tresser, the Air Max 97 was inspired by the high-speed Japanese Bullet train with its smooth look and feel. The 97 is infamous for being the first Air Max sneaker to introduce the hidden lacing system as well as being the first to feature a full-length Air Unit – giving you the complete feeling of walking on Air. Available with a range of standout colourways and colour combinations.
Nike Air Max 270
Refusing to rest on the silos of the 90s, Nike went big in 2018 with the release of the Air Max 270. Taking inspo from nostalgic models such as the 180 and 93, the 270 blends together retro style with future tech for a standout look and unbeatable performance. The kick features the tallest Air unit to date, measuring 32mm for maximum cushioning. Available with a mesh or flyknit upper, the 270 is the future of Air Max!
Nike Air Max Thea
A female silo that brings a fresh look to the Air Max family. A sleek and stylish silo that was first dropped in 2013, it brings a softer edge to the Air Max family.
