Adidas Campus 00s Shoes History
The campus first arrived in the ‘70s as a basketball shoe. However, back then it was named the ‘tournament’. The inspiration for the design of this shoe came from urban street style and sports. Soon after, in the ‘80s, popular hip hop icons started wearing these shoes such as the Beastie Boys and RUN-D.M.C. This propelled the shoe into the world of casual footwear and became one of the most popular trainers around.
Adidas Campus 80s & Campus 00s
Later down the line adidas reintroduced these kicks, as the Campus 80s, in 2010. These shoes kept the original vibe of the Campus, that were originally released back in the ‘70s. But let’s fast forward to today. Adidas went onto release another newer version of these creps, called the Campus 00s. These trainers are even chunkier than the originals versions of the shoe and are specifically designed for lifestyle and skateboarding.
