Where Is Birkenstock From?
Birkenstock was originally founded in Frankfurt, Germany by Johann’s Adam Birkenstock. This was all the way back in 1774. But let’s forward to 1873. Johann’s great grandson, Konrad Birkenstock created the anatomically influenced shoe, which featured a curved heal, flexible sole and it distinguished between the left and right feet.
Konrad’s son, Carl Birkenstock released the first ever Birkenstock Sandals back in ’63. Ahead of the time, these sandals are influenced by the Italian stiletto. The Sandals were later dubbed the ‘Madrid’ in 1979.
What Leather Does Birkenstock Use?
Birkenstock always use premium high-quality natural and synthetic materials in their footwear such as different types of leather, suede, and felt.
